Beneficiary: S.C. CURITIBA S.R.L. and University of Medicine and Pharmacy "Carol Davila"

The building is located in the central area of the city and includes space for offices and schools, and underground parking spaces.

The initial investment consist of one building with Underground+ Groundfloor+ 6Floors, from which only Underground, Groundfloor and partially the first floor were executed.

The beneficiary bought an adjacent site and wanted to extend the investment for the entire available site and also to modify the building height, respectiv to have two adjacent buildings with Underground+ Groundfloor+ 7Floors.

Profesional Construct took over the designing activity as General Designer and elaborated all the necessary documentations to achieve the beneficiary requirements - a new PUD (Detailed Urban Project), Building Permit, Technical Expertize, Technical Project and Execution Project, supervising and technical assistance during the execution.

The building is composed by two additional corps splitted by a seismic joint for entire height and it have an irregular shape in plane. The surface in plane is 987sq.m. and a total surface of 9315sq.m.

The structure is designed as dual structural system, with structural walls, concrete frames and concrete slabs.

The efforts are transmitted to the foundation ground through a general raft.

The car access to the underground parking is mare on a concrete ramp with 17% slope. The car parking is made in storied system (two cars overlapped with a lifting system) and also in clasic system.

A roadway surface was designed at the Groundfloor level to permit the firefighting machines access for all building sides.
